Criteo’s Stacey Edwards joins Ad-Lib Digital as its first global head of operations

Creative technology advertising platform Ad-Lib Digital continues its recruitment drive, boosting its line-up with three further senior appointments.  

Stacey Edwards, who is the second hire from Criteo in two months, is Ad-Lib’s first Global Head of Operations and Finance; Scarlett Long, ex Digital Strategy lead at Merkle Periscopix becomes Head of Client Services at Ad-Lib; and Charlie Ashe, experienced programmatic strategist is appointed by Ad-Lib as Sales Lead.

Stacey Edwards brings immense experience in managing high-growth tech companies. In Ad-Lib’s second hire from Criteo, Edwards’ appointment follows the news of David Phillipson joining as non-executive director.  Edwards, who leaves Criteo after seven years, was Finance Director of Global Operations; and prior was Finance Lead at Thomson Reuters for six years.

Scarlett Long is the second hire from Merkle Periscopix – following the appointment of Lasma Ilzina as Client Lead in December.  Long was at Merkle Periscopix for five years working across all media disciplines, and as Digital Strategy Lead for the last two years.

Charlie Ashe with eight years’ experience in the programmatic industry including Director of Digital Strategy at GDM Digital and when acquired by Ve Interactive; Client Partner at The Programmatic Advisory, and most recently at mobile media agency Pocket Media in Amsterdam. Ashe has run global pitches for international brands advising on in-housing of programmatic technology, project management on building in-house DMP – and has spoken at many industry events.

The new appointments follow the announcement in December that a new advisory board has been set up with David Phillipson, serial entrepreneur, who sold his app analytics attribution company AdX-tracking to Criteo in 2013 and was MD until 2017; and Patrick Collister, veteran ad-man, formerly ECD and Vice Chair of Ogilvy & Mather – to guide founder Oli Marlow Thomas on the Ad-Lib Digital’s next stage of development.
