The Prince’s Trust launches campaign to celebrate 40th Anniversary

PT_logoTo celebrate its 40th Anniversary The Prince’s Trust has launched a year-long campaign to reconnect with everyone who has been part of the charity’s history.

The aim of the #partofPT campaign is to galvanise The Prince’s Trust’s network of supporters, volunteers, partners and young people to share their own Trust memories on social media, so as to inspire many more to help with the charity’s work.

Since its inception The Prince’s Trust has supported more than 825,000 young people across the UK but has touched many more lives throughout its history.

#partofPT will enable all the people who have been helped by The Trust or involved as volunteers or donors to share or tag themselves in events and activities, as well as upload their own photos and memories of The Prince’s Trust events over the last 40 years, in celebration of the life changing impact The Trust has had on people’s lives.

The social campaign, devised by TMW Unlimited, Things Unlimited and Hashtag’d, is specifically integrated with social networks including Twitter and Instagram via the Hashtag’d platform. All the content will also be collated on an online hub accessible through The Prince’s Trust website.

The site will launch pre-populated with a number of key events and experiences that people can hand-raise to say they have attended or participated in. They will include the Palace to Palace bike ride – a cycling event with an iconic route from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle; Million Makers – an entrepreneurial fundraising challenge which sees teams of employees from companies across the UK competing to raise at least £10,000 or more over a period of six months; and the iconic Party in the Park fundraising event.

The campaign will run alongside anniversary events and activities taking place throughout the year.
