The Jordan Brand from Nike has launched a new campaign devised by Wieden+Kennedy New York.
‘Blake and Drain’ has been created for the launch of the Jordan Brand’s new shoe, the Super.Fly 2, with NBA player Blake Griffin.
The 60-second spot was shot on a playground court in downtown Los Angeles. Directed by Stacy Wall, it aims to capture the rhythm and tone of summer hoops with a touch of humour.
On the court, Griffin teams with D’arryl Drain who’s the only one unaware his game doesn’t match his swagger.
To promote Blake Griffin’s first headline spot as a Jordan Brand athlete, W+K are pushing the content through @Jumpman23 on Instagram and Twitter.
It is currently running on SportsCenter on ESPN and over the course of the summer the brand will release additional content.
