Creative agency BRAVE bolsters senior creative team with two senior hires

BRAVE hires Paul Pearson and Rachael Kendrick from Karmarama and Ogilvy respectively. Joining during a period of growth following a raft of new account gains, Paul and Rachael provide a boost to the creative team of the Lagardère-owned creative agency under the direction of creative director Caroline Paris.

Campaign’s 2015 ‘Faces to Watch’ Paul Pearson joins as creative director from Karmarama where he rose through the ranks during his six-year stint at the Accenture Interactive-owned agency.

In over a decade in adland, Paul has developed industry-beating creative for iconic brands like Confused.com, British Airways, Halfords, O2 and Honda.

Bolstering Paul’s appointment is Australian Rachael Kendrick PhD, named creative copywriter, who joined from Ogilvy in December. From her time at Wieden + Kennedy, AKQA, Ogilvy and Huge, Rachael brings a wealth of experience from working with leading global brands such as Google, Netflix, Pringles and American Express.

Caroline will lead the team and be charged with developing further the creative product for the agency which has worked with the likes of Amazon, P&G, Olay and LoveHoney.

Pearson said: “After six great years at Karmarama, it was time for a new challenge, and I couldn’t be happier with the opportunity I’ve been given at BRAVE. It’s a vibrant, energetic and progressive agency that believes in courageous creative. I love the ambition and can’t wait to get started.”

Kendrick said: “It’s an exciting time to join the BRAVE creative team. With my previous academic and professional experience, I hope to bring fresh ideas that may not always be conventional but will help our clients de-risk bravery in marketing.”

Paris said: “We are excited to expand our creative team by welcoming two new faces to bolster our current offering. Both Paul and Rachael and their rich heritage in creative delivery are real coups. Both will bring new ideas and fresh creative thought to the agency and are the icing on the cake to a great start to the year.”
