BRAVE Promotes Caroline Paris As Executive Creative Director

Creative agency Brave announced today that Caroline Paris will be promoted as Executive Creative Director. Paris joined the company in 2008 as an intern within the (back then) Billington Cartmell Group. She was made permanent within two weeks, and this marked the start of her career as a Junior AD. She worked her way up from that position over the last 13 years. She will report to Brave Managing Director Ash Bendelow.

Paris’s appointment is the latest announcement as Brave bolsters its team following their office move to Covent Garden.

In more recent years, Caroline has become an integral lead within the agency and started to shape the creative output of Brave. From growing UK clients to global accounts, and leading numerous pitch wins for the business; P&G, Age UK, Love Honey, Superdrug, HP, Mattel, World of Tanks and Chambord – to name a few. Brave and Caroline have been on an upward trajectory.

Ash Bendelow, MD said: ‘From intern to ECD in the same agency is sadly nearly as rare a story as a female ECD…however I couldn’t be prouder of Caz, her journey, her achievements and now her deserved promotion to Brave ECD. Caz is a creative Rockstar and a living embodiment of what Brave is and what it values most…bravery, empathy, tenacity, and integrity. Both Brave and our clients have been huge benefactors of her growth and talent and I’m super excited about her leading the creative charge for our next chapter in our new Covent Garden home…’

Caroline is driving forward the creative dept who are now lead agency for P&G, winning awards for Love Honey, creating work with purpose for sustainable water organisation Xylem & partner of Man City, developing exciting projects for Netflix, making more inclusive work for PepsiCo and producing stunning creative for Motors, LNDR and Age UK.

On her appointment, she said: “The journey so far has involved just over 13 years of hard work and tenacity. Building long term client relationships, working to be promoted on my own merit, always striving to keep it fresh and to keep growing. None of which would have happened without the support of some of the industries best.

Paris added: “It might be a cliche, but it’s important to me to thank  three specific people: Beri Cheetham my first ECD and the person I learnt so much from, Ali Hannan @Creative Equals for lifting me up and showing me what I could be, and of course Ash Bendelow, MD at Brave, for his unwavering belief and support”

Brave recent new wins include:
P&G – Olay, Old Spice
PepsiCo – Naked Smoothies
