Journey Further strengthens PR and SEO with five new appointments

Performance marketing agency Journey Further has announced the appointment of five PR experts to its PR & SEO offering, taking the team from three to eight people since it formed in August 2018.

The appointments come after several new exciting account wins, including 247 Blinds, Feast It and Job Today, taking the total number of client accounts to nine.

Turning over more than £200k in the last three months, the new team has gone from strength to strength.

Journey Further is recruiting ahead of the curve to ensure it continues to deliver great performance while maintaining an unrivalled workplace culture.

Joining the team are:

  • Vic Morton, PR Manager. Previously PR Manager at Edit (formerly Branded3).
  • Krissy Semonella and Gabriella Smith have been appointed to the role of PR Strategist. Prior to joining they were Senior PR Executive at Edit (formerly Branded3) and Account Manager at Brass respectively.
  • Tanya Oates and Will Dale have also joined as PR Strategists. They were previously Senior Account Exec at Brand8 and Junior Account Manager at Jaywing PR respectively.

Working closely with the biddable team and applying the same ‘clarity at speed’ approach, the senior team (no one has less than 4 years’ experience) are able to deliver performance-led PR, without the need for complicated and expensive campaigns.

Beth Nunnington, PR Director at Journey Further, said: “Our team’s rapid growth has been phenomenal, and much of that is a result of hiring the best talent out there. Having worked with many of the team previously, it is fantastic that we are all aligned in our vision of delivering performance-led PR, something that is missing from traditional approaches. Our clients are already seeing serious ROI from our approach, which relies on simple, creative PR ideas and a newsroom mentality, supported by SEO excellence and paid media amplification.”

Journey Further saw second year growth figures of £4.2million (+125%) turnover in 2018, with fee revenue growing by 183% to £1.8million. They were recently recognised as Search Agency of the Year at the Northern Digital Awards 2019.
