Brand design agency Lewis Moberly has appointed Joseph Drewett, former account director at Bluemarlin, as client director with immediate effect.
This is a second major hire for the agency who last month announced the appointment of Ben Sillence, the former head of design at Maltesers and Dove Galaxy, as its director of strategy.
Drewett will be charged with overseeing the delivery of work for its roster of clients, growing Lewis Moberly’s strategic offering with a focus on digital services.
The appointment forms part of the agency’s continued plans for business expansion. Earlier this year, Lewis Moberly scooped the coveted DBA Design Effectiveness Award for its work with Honey I’m Home – a start-up dog treat product that successfully penetrated the $24.6bn US pet food market in just 16 months with its premium brand identity and positioning.
Prior to joining Lewis Moberly, Drewett worked in New York for five years, running the US arm of global design agency Bluemarlin where he delivered a number of impactful brand and marketing campaigns for global Fortune 100 companies.
Speaking of his appointment, Joseph Drewett commented: “I am most excited by the opportunity to work with one of the industry’s standout agencies. With Lewis Moberly’s reputation for award-winning design and my experiences and skill set, I look forward to building on these core competencies and in supporting them to achieve their goals. Stewarding and impacting a business with such a legacy as Lewis Moberly’s is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I am excited to work with their impressive roster of clients to bring innovative solutions to the market.”
“This is an exciting period of growth for us at a very unique and challenging time for all. Joseph brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to the business which will prove valuable to us as we continue to expand on our services and grow our client base,” commented Alessandra Desfoux, Managing Partner, Lewis Moberly.
