Newly created aviation brand, Acron Aviation launched 31 March 2025, created in collaboration with brand design agency BrandMe.

Previously an L3Harris company, the new brand had to engage both B2B and B2C consumers within the aviation industry, while consolidating the business’ four business units under the same banner. The ambition of the brand creation was to challenge the well-established aviation industry to deliver a warm, innovative and trusted partner.
BrandMe’s objective was to create a brand that was designed for approachability and embody forward thinking dynamism with warmth. The immediate challenge was to change the brand’s name to one with global appeal and ownability. Using the new positioning, based on stakeholder insights, as a basis to develop the new name, meant the values and personality were at the heart of the exploration.

In an industry characterised by hard lines and cold blue palettes, BrandMe delivered distinction through generous curves and a vibrant green colour story. Signifying renewal and vitality, the green palette grounds the brand as a future-facing innovator. The unique icon takes inspiration from those established, recognisable shapes from within aviation and evolves them into a positive signifier for the brand. With an expanse of touchpoints communicating to both B2B and B2C, ranging from a flight simulator to the flight recorder machinery, Acron Aviation’s identity needed to be adaptable to multiple uses.

Design Director, Chris Cole explains:
“Acron Aviation is at the forefront of technological innovation, using data- led insight to shape the future of flight. They needed an identity that not only positioned them as the thought leader that they are but as an approachable partner ready to demystify their world.”

Oliver O’Kavanagh, Head of Creative Services at Acron Aviation says:
“Bringing a brand to life isn’t just about design – it’s about seamless integration into every touchpoint. Collaborating with BrandMe on the creation of our new brand was an exciting journey of transformation. Together, we crafted a brand identity that wasn’t just visually striking but also adaptable across countless applications. Their expertise in guiding the brand’s realisation ensured that every element, from guidelines to execution, worked cohesively across platforms, bringing the brand to life in a way that was both consistent and dynamic”.
The Think Tank activated the global brand launch, developing a brand proposition and full go-to-market strategy. The London agency also handled the media planning and buying, PR, digital advertising and email marketing.
