Trapster Launches Self-Service Creator Marketplace Globally Following Successful Invite-Only Period

Game creator marketing platform opens to studios and publishers worldwide after generating more than 177 million views and 2 million wishlists for early clients.

Trapster, a CPM-based creator marketing platform built for the games industry, today announced the global launch of its self-service marketplace for game developers and publishers.

Following an invite-only rollout earlier this year, Trapster is now available to studios worldwide. During the initial launch period, campaigns run through the platform generated more than 177 million views and helped early clients drive over 2 million game wishlists.

Trapster connects game studios and publishers with creators across major content platforms, helping teams promote games at key moments including announcements, demos, Steam Next Fest, early access, launch, and post-launch updates.

Rather than relying solely on fixed-fee creator partnerships, studios can run campaigns through a CPM model, paying for the views delivered by participating creators. This gives teams a more measurable and scalable way to build awareness, engage relevant audiences, and support key commercial moments throughout a game’s lifecycle.

The platform centralizes the campaign workflow: studios can create campaigns, publish briefs, share promotional assets, distribute game keys, and communicate directly with participating creators. Creators can browse available opportunities, choose games that fit their audience and content style, produce content, and earn based on the views their videos generate.

“Game discovery is increasingly shaped by creators, but identifying the right partners and managing campaigns at scale remains challenging for many studios,” said Pavel Beresnev, CEO of Trapster. “Trapster was built to make creator marketing more accessible, measurable, and efficient. Our performance-based model helps studios reach relevant audiences while creating more opportunities for creators to discover and earn from new games.”

Before opening globally, Trapster served 252 studios and worked with more than 800 creators worldwide. The company’s early performance reflects the growing importance of creator-led discovery, particularly for independent developers and publishers looking to build awareness and wishlist momentum without relying exclusively on traditional advertising.

Campaigns can be tailored to a studio’s specific objective. Developers preparing a new release can introduce their game to creators, build anticipation, and generate wishlist momentum ahead of launch. Publishers can activate creators around a major update, expansion, seasonal event, or discount campaign.

For creators, Trapster offers a dedicated marketplace of game campaign opportunities. Studios can provide the information, assets, and game access needed to create high-quality content, while creators retain control over the opportunities they accept.

With its marketplace now open globally, Trapster plans to continue expanding its network of studios and creators, as well as the range of campaign opportunities available through the platform.
