Big Spaceship Announces Three Leadership Promotions Amid Year Of Agency Growth

Independent full-service agency Big Spaceship announce three key promotions across its executive team. Laura Breines, Lindsay Molsen, and Stacey Zimmerman will help steer a new leadership team to evolve and expand the agency’s offerings. These promotions push Big Spaceship’s executive team to 60% women.

Laura Breines has been promoted to President, the first woman to hold the title in the agency’s 22-year history. In her new role, Laura Breines will manage business growth, profitability, and strategic planning for the future of Big Spaceship. Breines has been with the agency for seven years and has been integral in transforming its approach to operations, growth, and client services.

In her new role as Managing Director with a focus on operations & delivery, Lindsay Molsen will be responsible for finance, operations, diversity equality and inclusion (DEI) strategy, and the future of distributed work. Lindsay started with Big Spaceship in 2015 as an Executive Producer and has rapidly grown with the company over the past seven years.

Stacey Zimmerman has been promoted to Managing Director with a focus on growth & relationships. She will now work towards organic and new business growth, including health and development of the client portfolio and service models, and lead the agency’s West Coast expansion operations, including the newly opened Seattle office. Stacey has been with Big Spaceship for four years.

Recently, Big Spaceship solidified another multi-year relationship with Starbucks, preferred partner contract with JP Morgan Chase, and won new businesses such as Creative Agency of Record for PepsiCo’s Evolve and Creative Agency of Record for female healthcare company Tia. Breines, Molsen, and Zimmerman have been instrumental in these results.

“We invest significant time looking for ways to improve ourselves as a business, a culture, and a team. Navigating the huge growth we’ve seen over the last year (our 22nd) was a huge job. Doing it while navigating distributed work, introducing new offerings, and examining every aspect of the organization through an equity and belonging lens was incredible. Among a small group at the center of those efforts are three women who, in their many years at Big Spaceship, have made us a better place to work and a better partner to our clients,” said Michael Lebowitz, CEO and Founder of Big Spaceship. “We have the utmost faith in them, and look forward to their continued growth in these new roles.”
