Creative brand agency BrandOpus have just announced the promotion of Client Development Director and Founding Partner Louise de Ste. Croix to Head of Growth and the appointment of four new Associate Partners; Ali Dawkins, Alice Waterman, Kim Dunphy and Nikki Moeschinger. The recent announcement is in response to continued global growth across the US and Australasian market.
Founded in 2007, the agency has expanded its presence from London to Melbourne in 2012 and New York in 2016, with their newest studio opening in Chicago last year.
CEO and Founder Nir Wegrzyn comments “The last few years have seen an exciting period of rapid global expansion, but this isn’t a time to stand still. In these changes we are recognising the incredible work our team has done to get us here and their ability to continue consolidating our existing relationships and building new partnerships. It’s always a rewarding moment when we can promote from within.”
Louise de Ste. Croix has been promoted to Head of Growth to oversee development across the entire agency, with a specific focus on the UK and US market. With over 16 years’ combined experience working at JKR and BrandOpus, de Ste. Croix has led the teams that won major accounts including Britvic, and global partnerships with McCain and Molson Coors.
de Ste. Croix comments “Clients are looking for agencies to help them navigate a more disparate and challenging environment than we’ve seen before. We are building global brands that are more memorable, disruptive and effective in an ever-changing landscape.”
Ali Dawkins, newly appointed Associate Partner, first joined BrandOpus in 2011 and relocated to New York in 2014 to head up the studio as Business Director. With over a decade of experience, Dawkins has been a key driver for recent global growth, winning both Molson Coors and Kraft Heinz accounts in recent years. She will continue to lead the North American expansion.
Dawkins comments “We’ve partnered with some amazing clients who embrace our ambition to push boundaries when it comes to brand. This has made the task of growing our offer in North America an incredibly rewarding experience and I’m excited to build on this further.”
New York-based Creative Director Kim Dunphy will also continue to play a pivotal role in driving growth across the US market. Dunphy has over 15 years’ experience in design and branding, where she has led the North American creative team in key projects including the development of the award-winning Cracker Barrel cheese redesign.
US Business Director Alice Waterman is responsible for leading the BrandOpus studio in Chicago, which opened in January 2019. With over 8 years of experience working at BrandOpus and Pearlfisher, Waterman brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise across new business. She will continue to manage the north American relationships, while growing the agency’s presence in Chicago. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Managing Director Nikki Moeschinger has over 16 years marketing and branding experience working with international brands including ALDI, Pacific West Seafood and Sara Lee. Joining the business in 2018, Moeschinger’s role is to grow the agency’s footprint throughout Australasia.
Commenting on her recent appointment as Associate Partner “I am thrilled with the opportunity to bring BrandOpus’s provocative way of thinking about brands to the Australasian market. I’m eager to tell our story and challenge traditional thinking”.
