Broadhead Bets Big on Creative

With six new team members, following the appointment of its first-ever Chief Creative Officer in May, the agency known for data and strategy is going all-in on content.

Broadhead announces six new hires across its creative and social teams. The investment marks a major step forward for the 25-year-old independent agency, which is best known for its data and strategy prowess and AI innovation. Whereas most agencies are eliminating staff, broadhead is investing significantly in experienced creative leadership, emerging talent, and AI infrastructure needed to produce more effective work.

Broadhead’s newest creative team members span creative as well as the agency’s growing social and creator capabilities. All were brought on by Gil Muiños, who joined as the agency’s first Chief Creative Officer in May to transform its creative model.

  • Andy Masur, Associate Creative Director, former Haberman, Leo Burnett Chicago, and Digitas
  • Colleen Muraca, Social Creative Strategist, former Creative Director for comedian Charlie Berens and Cripes Inc.
  • Emily Rudie, Senior Copywriter, former Haberman
  • Stephen Pisano, Art Director, former Leo Burnett Chicago
  • Adeline Meyer, Content Creator

“As tools keep raising the floor on what’s possible, craft is the only way past it,” said Muiños. “Our goal is simple: Bringing in talented, passionate people who want to make work that makes people feel something and do something. Then put them in an environment that’s curious, supportive, and pushes them.”

Over the past year, broadhead launched a proprietary suite of AI-powered, data-driven tools that has accelerated insights, sharpened creative, and improved client outcomes, marking a new era for the agency and earning prestigious industry awards. Building on this new foundation of efficiencies and predictive power, it’s now prioritizing investments in its creative talent.

“We’re building the kind of tech-enabled creative excellence clients need in the coming environment,” said Dean Broadhead, Founder + CEO. “Consumers are inundated with noise, thanks to a decade of performance ads accelerated by AI. Brands need to cut through with great creative that focuses the message and brings emotion to the moment of choice.”

The expanded creative team (now 23 people) supports a growing portfolio, including new clients Thermo Bond, Tetra Pak, and LifeSource – all of which are launching work in Q4.
