New directors demonstrate Buddy Media’s commitment to growth and ever-improving client services

Full service digital agency Buddy Media today announces the appointment of Laura Hartley as Director of Organic Social and Georgina Bojarski as Director of Paid Social. Both are first roles for the agency and will report directly into CEO and Founder Sam Budd. The new hires are a key part of the agency’s growth strategy as it strives to deliver ever improving services to its growing portfolio of clients.

As Director of Organic Social, she will lead the organic social media team and provide strategic and creative support on all accounts, making sure excellence is delivered.

Notable names include Nectar, Virgin Mobile UAE, OnePlus, NHS, UK Government & Pasta Evangelist. At Buddy Media, she will head up the Paid Performance team, leading them to their full potential, ensuring they deliver powerful ROI focussed campaigns and driving new business across the line with hard hitting deliverables as well as driving the team.

The appointments follow the hire of Chris Ball as Director of Performance Marketing & Growth in July 2021 who brings over 15 years’ experience driving digital growth for premium and luxury brands. Chris was recently promoted from Head of Performance.

On the appointments, Sam Budd, CEO and Founder of Buddy Media said: “We’ve gained great momentum with our clients and revenue this year, scaling the business by over 150%. With a similar forecasts for 2023, Laura and Georgina’s experience will ensure we have the firepower to keep scaling.

Both of them bring incredible digital and social experience and I am excited to let them develop and grow the teams. Having people of this calibre will be instrumental to our continued success. I can’t wait to see what they can achieve.”

Laura Hartley said: “It’s easy to see organic social media as one big echo chamber of content – but it’s safe to say this isn’t the case at Buddy Media! The creativity in the team (all backed up with hard data of course) is genuinely very exciting. I’ll be leading the brilliant organic social media department to make sure that continues.”

Georgina Bojarski said: “Buddy Media really appealed as I wanted to work with an agency that takes performance media to another level utilising the power of influencers. Having the opportunity to work with some huge brands was also a great draw. It’s amazing to have a common goal to take Buddy to the next level!”
