DCUK is the Original Wooden Duck Company whose simple mission is to help customers and their families to smile, by giving and owning one of their endearing ducks or feathered friends.
Each unique character is made by hand out of earth-kind bamboo root – and then individually painted and given the DCUK Pin of authenticity. Despite being around since 2004 and having great relationships with customers and the trade, we’ve been far too modest and quiet about what we do… literally flying under the radar.
Until now.
Those who don’t believe in magic, will never find it.
All the big brands embrace the festive season with advertising. Lots of noise. Big PR. TV ads. As part of our new-found confidence, we wanted to offer our own spin on the current themes of kindness, self-reflection and spontaneity – encouraging customers to reconnect with their inner child.
Our new Christmas-themed ad has just been released, featuring a young girl, her mum and a tiny Indian Runner Duckling. Oh, and a message about embracing the imagination and helping others to smile. Heaven knows, we all need that now, right?
The early response from our current customers has been amazing and we’re thrilled that so many people have been watching and sharing our video already. We’re also selling our 2020 Cosy Christmas themed range, along with other popular characters – including our range of Garden Birds, who now arrive in their own bird house gift box.
