Intuit QuickBooks Welcomes New Marketing Director To Lead UK Growth And Support Vision To Power Business Prosperity

Appointment announced at flagship annual event QuickBooks Connect

Intuit QuickBooks – the global technology platform – is today announcing that it has welcomed marketing veteran Faith Wheller, formerly of Cisco, as its new UK Marketing Director.

In her new role, Wheller will be responsible for an ambitious growth strategy for the UK market, as QuickBooks seeks to become the source of truth for small and mid-market businesses by not only helping them run but grow their businesses. Based in London, she will lead a dynamic team, with responsibility for the entire UK marketing and revenue generation organisation.

Intuit QuickBooks’ mission is to power prosperity around the world by helping more businesses survive and thrive. It does this by providing an end-to-end customer growth platform that meets businesses’ biggest problems and puts the power of data in their hands to thrive.

The recent acquisition of Mailchimp has turbocharged this vision by helping customers attract, engage and retain customers – all on the same platform where they get paid, access capital, pay employees, optimise cashflow, get organised and stay compliant. Wheller will be partnering closely with the Mailchimp team to communicate these benefits to customers as the integration with QuickBooks rolls out in the UK.

Wheller has enjoyed a stand-out career in the technology sector, most recently as a senior marketing leader at Cisco for over a decade, where her most recent role was leading marketing strategy for its Enterprise & Small Business unit. Prior to this, she led EMEA Channel & Acquisition marketing at BT until 2010.

“In such a crowded market, it’s hard for brands to cut through – but I felt like I knew Intuit QuickBooks well before I heard about the job,” said Wheller. “The opportunity to help such an ‘always-on’ brand evolve its marketing even further was one I couldn’t resist, especially since the SaaS space had been of interest to me for a long time.

“The shift to digital is one of many adaptations small businesses had to make through the pandemic; this year that trend will be even more widespread. Through our SMB Insights Report, we know that more than three-quarters of small businesses agree that they’re more likely to succeed if they invest in digital technology. When you coincide that fact alongside the acquisition of Mailchimp, these two powerhouse brands are creating an unparalleled one-stop-shop. This is such an exciting time to join QuickBooks, and delivers on our unwavering resolve to support our small business customers and accounting professionals, so that they can truly grow and prosper.“

Chris Evans, VP and UK Country Manager at Intuit, said: “We’re thrilled to have Faith join the team here in the UK, and lead our exceptional marketing division through what will be a busy and exciting time for the business. Faith stood out from the crowd for many reasons, but what most impressed us most was her unwavering focus on balancing growth, customer-centricity, and crucially, being an excellent leader who prioritises team development and well-being. During such a transformational time for Intuit QuickBooks, Faith brings a wealth of expertise that will help further drive our business forward and deliver excellence for the customers and communities we serve.”

The new appointment is being announced this week at the flagship annual conference QuickBooks Connect, where hundreds of small businesses will meet to learn the skills and tools they need to accelerate their own growth plans, from financial software help to marketing strategies and tax support.
