Spark Foundry, the Publicis Media agency that brings heat to brands, has announced today the hire of Oliver Wood as its Head of Performance.
Following the recent integration of Blue 449 into Spark Foundry at the start of this year, the entrepreneurial agency brings in the New Year by welcoming a fresh face to the leadership team. As a senior digital marketing and performance media specialist with over 18 years’ experience, Wood will be managing Spark Foundry’s PPC, SEO, Paid Social and Affiliate capabilities under a united Performance department.
Wood joins a solid team of senior media leaders including Lindsay Turner and Nigel Waring who are firmly at the helm as CEO and MD respectively, supported by Richard Dance, the Chief Digital Officer, Pete Edwards who was welcomed to the team last year, James Brown, who heads up Performance Planning, and Dr Mo Elfarra who is leading the charge for Data and Effectiveness for the agency.

Wood joins the team from Group M where he has held several roles during his tenure. Most recently, Wood was Head of Performance for Global Clients at Wavemaker UK, overseeing over 70 performance specialists. Prior to this, he ran the Maxus performance division of over 90 people. Wood has worked with a wide range of clients including Apple, BT, L’Oréal and British Airways.
