Sparteo, the adtech platform for publishers, has appointed Rachel Saada to the newly created role of Head of Marketing. Rachel will focus on the UK market, alongside France, as the Paris-based scale-up projects growth of over 50% in 2024.
Rachel joins Sparteo from global creator company, Jellysmack, where she led its EMEA marketing operation in London. She was previously at Taboola. At Sparteo, Rachel will leverage her background in adtech to deliver key strategic priorities in the UK, including enhancing brand visibility, driving customer engagement, and expanding market share.
The appointment follows a series of senior team moves, with Head of Sales, Pauline Alonso, relocating to lead Sparteo’s fast-growing London office, responding to increased customer demand from UK publishers for its proprietary AI and data driven video, audio, display, CMP and Connected TV solutions. Sam Burdge also joins the company as VP of Video Engineering at VIOUSLY, Sparteo’s all-in-one video strategy solution. He was previously Technical Director at Snack Media.
Through Sparteo’s platform, clients see advertising revenues increase by 30% post-deployment. UK clients include Nigella.com, The Race and Kelsey Media Group.
Rachel comments, “This is such an exciting time to join the Sparteo team. As an adtech veteran, I’ve always been impressed by Sparteo’s commitment to innovation, AI and data driven solutions. We know Sparteo’s customers come to us looking to drive their efficiency, engagement, and revenues, so I’m looking forward to expanding and redefining how we deliver the industry-leading solution to this core adtech challenge.”
Benjamin Tolman, Chief Strategy Officer and co-founder adds, “We’re thrilled to welcome Rachel to the Sparteo team as we continue to expand our UK presence and innovate in the evolving adtech landscape. Rachel’s experience and understanding of the UK market in particular will be essential as we enter this next significant phase of growth, leading next gen adtech solutions for the publishing industry. Welcome Rachel.”
