Design Bridge are pleased to announce two promotions within the global design agency’s senior leadership team; Tim Perkins to Group Chairman, and Kasia Bannon to Group Executive Vice President.
Progressing from his previous role as Deputy Group Chairman, Tim Perkins has now been named as the agency’s Group Chairman. A long-standing member of the team, Tim joined Design Bridge London in 1994, initially working with clients in Asia before establishing the agency’s third Studio in Singapore. Since then, Tim has been instrumental in driving growth across the Design Bridge Group and is known around the business for seeking out ways to maximise client opportunities, constantly challenging the teams to raise the bar, and always asking “what if…?”.
In his new role as Group Chairman, Tim will continue to oversee the agency’s core client relationships, partnering with Design Bridge’s Group CEO John Morris to ensure that the Studios continue to deliver the very best work.
“Tim’s mantra has always been delivering great work to our clients’ needs and he has helped instil this philosophy at the heart at Design Bridge. He has intuitively built strong partnerships with many of our global clients over the years, as well as inspiring our internal teams to always push the boundaries. I’ve worked closely with Tim since I joined Design Bridge and I’m really looking forward to continuing our work together in the next phase of the business.” – John Morris, Group CEO of Design Bridge.
Tim will be passing his previous Group Business Development Director responsibilities over to Kasia Bannon, who is stepping up from her role as Senior Vice President & Managing Partner of Design Bridge New York to become Group Executive Vice President (Group EVP). Kasia will continue to lead the New York Studio, but will also take responsibility for the agency’s global New Business strategy, working closely with her team in North America as well as the Studios in Europe and Asia to ensure the continued growth and success of Design Bridge on a global level.
Kasia has been with the business since 2009 when she joined the Client Servicing team in London. A natural at building meaningful relationships with people, Kasia quickly established herself within the team, growing what were then small pieces of local business into some of the agency’s biggest global clients today. In 2014 Kasia moved to New York to set up a hub for Design Bridge’s expanding business in North America and, six years on, has grown her team of one into a Studio of 50 (and counting), adding clients such as Mastercard and Colgate-Palmolive to Design Bridge’s growing roster. Earlier this year the Studio was officially recognized as a Great Place to Work-Certified company.
John Morris, Group CEO of Design Bridge, said of Kasia’s appointment: “One of the strengths of Design Bridge is our people-focused culture and we take pride in providing opportunities for people to grow and develop within the business. Kasia has taken on, and succeeded in, every challenge and opportunity given to her over the years, and I am delighted to have her join the Group Leadership team. I have no doubt that Kasia will thrive in this new role, continuing to grow our strong client relationships and supporting others around the business to flourish.”
