– Appointment follows six-way competitive pitch
– Waste will now partner with MS-1 to develop brand strategy ahead of launch of undisclosed new title across US and western Europe
MS-1 (Mobile Studio 1), developer of the hit mobile game World of Tanks Blitz, has hired independent creative agency Waste to develop a brand strategy for an upcoming game launch. The agency was appointed following a six-way competitive pitch.
Waste will now partner with the gaming studio to develop a brand strategy ahead of the launch of an upcoming unannounced title across the US and western Europe.
Alexey Morozov, Senior Product Marketing Manager, MS-1, said: “Waste showed a real depth of understanding when it came to our brief and what we’re trying to achieve for this new title. They brought a compelling mix of art and science to the table, which helped them to stand out during our pitch process. We’re looking forward to working closely with them as we embark on this journey.”
Christian Perrins, Strategy Director, Waste, added: “It’s a privilege to partner with Wargaming. The scale and success of the global community they’ve built is well documented, but what’s so inspiring is their appetite to keep moving forward. They’re deeply knowledgeable about their core audiences but open to fresh perspectives and thinking, which makes them a dream client to do great work with. And they’re decisive and no-nonsense, which always goes down well at Waste!”
