Creative agency Who Wot Why is launching a new ad campaign for Wealthify, the multi-award winning, online investment service which aims to make investing easy and affordable.
The campaign is the first since the brand appointed Who Wot Why last December, and it aims to inspire anyone to build their future wealth. It introduces a new strapline, ‘Wealthify your savings’, and showcases the brand’s innovative online slider tool, which allows potential customers to build the perfect investment plan to suit them.
To raise awareness of this effective tool, Who Wot Why has created a series of films built on the idea of “Get your slider on”. One focuses on ISAs with the line “Shimmy your savings into our ISA.” Another encourages people to “Slide your pensions into one place”, with the offer to consolidate different pots into Wealthify. The static designs feature the graphic device of the online slider, with a diverse group of hands sliding the slider.
Digital out-of-home executions will use a moving image version of the slider intersecting with bold typography, and a series of radio ads plays to the same theme. Further digital assets feature engaging and intriguing vignettes of people (and even animals!) enjoying sliding movement – from a group of penguins, to a skateboarding dog, through to a man doing the moonwalk.
The campaign launches on radio on March 21st and on OOH from on March 28th, running through until May 1st. The ads will run on YouTube, Kiss National, Absolute 90s, Virgin radio, ACAST PODCAST, Spotify, I Sponsorship, Metro Sponsorship and London Underground, as well as bus sides and digital 48 and 6 sheets in Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester.
Who Wot Why’s recent hires from Anomaly London helped win the pitch and created the work. Art direction is by Alex Bingham and copywriting is by Conrad Swanston, the photographer is Nina Caspari.
Sally Allan, Chief Marketing Officer at Wealthify said: “We appointed Who Wot Why because the team’s ‘Wealthify your savings’ theme really chimed with our company’s purpose – to inspire anyone to build their future wealth. We’ve created a brilliantly simple online investment service which makes investing accessible and affordable. Who Wot Why’s ‘Get your slider on’ message mirrors this, while activating the audience to do more with their money. It’s fun and engaging and stands out from traditional ads for investing – we love it!”
Sean Thompson at Who Wot Why said: “When you need to deliver complicated messages about the ins and outs of investment to everyday people who don’t normally invest, you have to have a simple solution. The idea of the graphic slider makes the communication straightforward; all you have to do is slide the slider to get your savings working harder for you. Simple as that.”
