Who Wot Why is expanding with three new members of staff: Amy Vills, who joins as account director, and the junior creative team Daniel Scott and Rebecca Conyngham-Hynes, AKA Bex and Dan.
Amy starts on October 1, working on Sky Betting & Gaming, and SIMBA Sleep. She reports to Charles Faircloth, Client Partner at Who Wot Why. She was previously at BETC London and 101 London and she’s worked on clients including Nike, Diageo and Red Bull Racing. Started her advertising career at McCann London in 2013.
Bex and Dan’s most recent work is as a freelance team for Ogilvy and The Corner. Before that they were junior creatives at AMV, working on Mars, Snickers and Maltesers. They joined this week and are reporting to executive creative directors Ben Walker, Sean Thompson and Matt Gooden.
Sean Thompson said: “Our ethos is Break One Rule and we’re constantly on the hunt for like-minded teams. Bex and Dan didn’t disappoint – their work is strategically intelligent, and full of rule-breaking attitude.”
Bex and Dan said: “The opportunity to work at an agency run by creatives is one we wanted to jump at. It’s amazing to have creativity running from the top all the way through the work and people.
Charles Faircloth said: “We’re delighted to snare Amy as we build out our account management team. Her passion and pedigree are a perfect fit for Who Wot Why.”
Amy Vills said: “Who Wot Why is producing fantastic work and their philosophy of encouraging clients to break the mould is something I’m so into, so I couldn’t be more excited about joining and driving that ambition forwards with the team.”
