– Former Havas Performance Content Director Jack Oakley brought on board to lead UK service offering
– International Marketing Manager Helena Duro joins business to lead international marketing and brand development across UK & Europe
Multi-market Performance PR and Reputation Management agency Digital Trails announces the appointment of two senior hires to strengthen the core management team. Jack Oakley joins as new Client & Business Director to lead operations in the UK, whilst Helena Duro will lead marketing and branding across UK and European markets.
The new appointments come at a time of rapid expansion for Digital Trails, which has seen it set up European operations in Amsterdam this year to better service European markets including the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and others, where the agency already has a presence and a client base.
Jack Oakley joins the firm with close to a decade of performance marketing experience, having been most recently Performance Content Director at global agency Havas Media. He has a strong background driving digital and content strategies for leading global and local brands including Homebase, O2, Legal & General, and John West among others. Before that, he was part of the senior content strategy team at Greenlight Digital, working with top brands such as HISCOX, Bolt Burdon Kemp, Currys PC World, Carphone Warehouse and others.
At Digital Trails, Oakley will oversee key accounts, develop and hone core services and support the growth of the agency’s multimarket proposition.
Helena Duro brings a wealth of marketing experience both in-house and agency side, having led multi-channel marketing initiatives for brands such as The Guardian Jobs, RBS, and Tobacco Dock, as well as specialising in content marketing and social media strategy for start-up brands in recent years.
Helena will focus her skills on international marketing for the agency as it builds its presence across key markets. She will also oversee employer branding and key strategic partnerships.
In addition, Digital Trails has strengthened their PR team with another new hire, Sidse Sorensen, who joined the agency as Digital PR Specialist.
Bogdan Marinescu, founder and managing director of Digital Trails, said: “The latest key hires will strengthen our international management team following a successful year that has seen us set up European operations in Amsterdam, expand our client base in additional key markets and deliver some amazing multi-market PR, SEO and Digital Marketing projects across the UK and Europe. Jack and Helena bring a wealth of experience to the team and will both be pivotal in our next growth phase.
“I am incredibly excited to welcome our new hires to the team, and look forward to making our collaboration a success”.
