CHILLI, the Leeds-based brand strategy and design agency which forms part of IMA-HOME, has appointed Emma Salvesen to the new role of Client Director, following a period of business growth.
L to R: Jess Kaye & Emma Salvesen
She joins from Born Ugly, where she has worked for three years as Client Director. At CHILLI, she reports to Jess Kaye, who was recently named as Business Director.
Salvesen’s brief is to nurture existing and new client relationships across all of CHILLI’s accounts. In particular, she will work on CHILLI’s recent Ringtons win, along with the Co-op and Froneri accounts.
In addition, the role has a group-level focus, with Salvesen managing opportunities through to IMA-HOME so client briefs can be answered at a total brand level.
Salvesen will also be a key role model for the CHILLI client services department, helping to drive growth by mentoring and developing team members.
Jess Kaye, Business Director at CHILLI, said: “This appointment comes as part of a period of exciting transformation at CHILLI. With Emma joining the team, we’ll be in a great position to step change our recent growth even further, allowing us to stretch into some more strategic brand building territory.”
Emma Salvesen, Client Director at CHILLI, added: “Not only do I admire CHILLI’s creative prowess, I’m inspired by the team’s ambition to maximise every client opportunity and to build brands not only in design aspects but across the whole consumer journey. It feels like such an exciting time to be joining them in this new role and I can’t wait to get started.”
Before joining Born Ugly in 2021, Salvesen worked as an Account Director at Elmwood and Coley Porter Bell, among others.
