Andrew Bailey joins as Group Creative Director and Stuart Hayhurst as Group Planning Director
Independent integrated agency Curiosity has hired Andrew Bailey as group creative director and Stuart Hayhurst as group planning director. Both hail from The Martin Agency, where they worked alongside Head of Strategy Taylor Wiegert, who joined Curiosity in 2024.
Bailey will lead creative across multiple Curiosity clients, partner with strategy and account teams, mentor creatives and help drive new business. He reports to Chief Creative Officer Jeff Warman. Bailey spent 10 years at Martin, most recently working as a freelance creative director. His clients have included Buffalo Wild Wings, for whom he was creative director on “Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony” and the “Jewel Stool,” as well as Coinbase, Snapchat and Sling TV. His work has earned a One Show Merit award, a Cannes Lions shortlist, a Gold SABREs and a Digiday awards, and he has served as a Webby Awards judge.
Hayhurst, who reports to Wiegert, will work with agency leadership to build out Curiosity’s strategic planning practice. At Martin, Hayhurst was group planning director on GEICO, General Mills, Papa Johns, AXE and Buffalo Wild Wings. Her work on AXE won a Silver Effie, and her Papa Johns work was an Effie finalist.
“The leadership here is ambitious, willing to take risks, and genuinely invested in creative,” Bailey said. “They’re great people who want to make the best work they can, and they are backing that up with what they’re putting out.”
“Aside from reuniting with some of my favourite people in the industry, I came to Curiosity to help an agency grow and reach a new level,” Hayhurst said. “This is a place built on asking better questions, and I’ve seen that ‘how can we do it better?’ mentality everywhere in my short time here.”
Curiosity’s clients include Mike and Ike, Peeps, Underdog, Stop & Shop, Zevo, Native and Blue Buffalo.
