“We Are the Countervirus”, meant to help promote practices to minimize the spread of the coronavirus. Independent agency, Madwell, launched it in collaboration with digital outdoor trade association DPAA Global.
The campaign will be running starting this week in the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico, Brazil and beyond, via digital media and a variety of digital OOH, ranging from elevators in buildings and point-of-care screens in doctor’s offices.
The campaign harnesses digital OOH to share information on slowing the spread of the virus by providing actionable, clear steps to #flatteningthecurve.
The campaign also encourages people to “spread” their message, and shares words of encouragement and appreciation for those who are on the frontlines of the pandemic, such as first responders, medical professionals, restaurant and grocery workers, and delivery teams.
By this time next week, the campaign will be running on nearly every major OOH network encompassing hundreds of thousands of screens.
