SOSTEREO JOINS FLYTEVU WITH PRIVATE INVESTMENT FROM DMG TO EXPAND MUSIC, AUDIO AND CREATIVE CAPABILITIES

The Strategic Investment from DMG expands Complementary Portfolio of Companies at the Intersection of Brand, Culture, and Entertainment

Driftwood Music Group (“DMG”), a family-owned investment and operating platform focused on Brand, Culture and Entertainment announced the acquisition of SoStereo, a leading music and sonic strategy company making brands sound as good as they look.

The addition builds on the existing capabilities of its first investment, creative and culture agency FlyteVu, to extend its creative and marketing services across music search and licensing, sonic branding, and original composition, and further strengthens its ability to develop, source, and deliver music-driven creative solutions for brands.

SoStereo has built a reputation as a go-to partner for brands and creative teams looking to optimize audio as a strategic tool. The company combines data-driven sonic strategy and proprietary technology with streamlined music licensing from a global catalog, original music production, and sonic branding, helping clients identify and create the right sound for their brand. SoStereo will continue to operate as a standalone business led by CEO, Lindsey Camerota.

“We’re investing in exceptional companies with distinct expertise, strong leadership, proprietary technology, and a shared belief in the power of culture and entertainment to drive meaningful results for Brands,” said Kevin Thompson, CEO, Driftwood Music Group.

“SoStereo is a natural addition to the greater vision of FlyteVu as we strengthen and broaden our service offering to clients, while maintaining our commitment to creativity, culture-forward big ideas, and exceptional quality.  Their tools allow us to deliver results more efficiently while achieving best in class creative outputs,” says Laura Hutfless, CEO and Founder of FlyteVu.

“SoStereo was built on the belief that music and audio should be more than an asset in a campaign – it should be a strategic part of the brand and the creative idea,” said Lindsey Camerota, CEO of SoStereo. “Joining Driftwood and partnering with FlyteVu, gives us the opportunity to build on that vision while expanding what we can offer our clients. We’re excited to partner with like-minded companies that share our vision and give us the resources, expertise, and opportunity to take SoStereo into its next chapter.”

SoStereo will continue to operate under its existing brand and leadership, with the company’s team and client-focused approach remaining central to its next phase of growth.
