Indianapolis-based independent agency, Young & Laramore today announced a new chapter for its creative leadership by elevating Trevor Williams and Bryan Judkins, both Group Creative Directors and agency principals, each to the title of Executive Creative Director.
Y&L’s longtime Executive Creative Director, Carolyn Hadlock, is stepping away from the agency after 30 years to produce, on a full time basis The Beautiful Thinkers Project. Hadlock’s passion began five years with a blog and developed into a podcast where she interviews leaders, creators, and visionaries across industries and disciplines to discover what makes beautiful thinking.
Tom Denari, Y&L’s President & CEO notes, “In the years I’ve worked with Carolyn, I’ve seen what a prescient and creative force she’s been for Y&L. These same characteristics led to the creation of The Beautiful Thinkers Project at the agency and we support its current and future success.”
In their new roles, Judkins and Williams will take the reins of the creative department from Hadlock, who notes, “I’m thrilled for Bryan and Trevor to co-lead the department and set the bar for creative at the Y&L. They’ve done a tremendous job with our current clients, leading the day to day work. Their elevations to ECD are a natural progression in Young & Laramore’s evolution.” Denari concurs, “Our exceptional creative department couldn’t be in better hands.”
Williams celebrated his 20th anniversary at Y&L this year, and touts a portfolio of award-winning advertising, including work for Paddletek, Stanley Steemer, Farm Bureau Insurance and Brizo—the luxury brand of fixtures from The Delta Faucet Company that he and the Y&L team helped to create from scratch.
Judkins, who joined Y&L in 2005, has led campaigns that have also garnered national acclaim. His writing and creative direction has brought distinctive brand voices to Steak ’n Shake, Trane, Hotel Tango Distillery, Louisville Slugger and Stanley Steemer.
This announcement rounds out a big year of leadership promotions for Y&L, who also announced the promotion of Tom Denari to President & CEO at the beginning of the year.
