Catch a VW Golf GTI on the Bannerbahn

A creative use of a banner by Achtung! will see users clicking to try a win a Volkswagen car on September 13.

“Bannerbahn,” created for the new Golf GTI, will see a real car racing on the runway of Airport Twente. Online, four popular Dutch websites were painted with the asphalt markings of the runway.

On Sept. 13, users are invited to chase the GTI as it speeds through the banner spaces of those sites — and with a single mouse click, catch the car, online. The fastest wins the car.

The race will happen in collaboration with two Dutch publishers, TMG and Sanoma, who will provide editorial and commercial space on their sites to host the Bannerbahn.
