Wahoo announces sponsorship of Sniper Cycling

Wahoo, a leader in connected fitness devices, announced it will be supporting Sniper Cycling, consisting of the Belgian Crelan Charles Cyclocross team and Veranda’s Willems-Crelan-Charles road cycling team led by two-time Cyclocross World Champion Wout van Aert.

The team has selected three key products from Wahoo’s ecosystem to support their training and racing efforts: the Wahoo TICKR Heart Rate Monitor, the Wahoo ELEMNT GPS Cycling Computer, and Wahoo’s award-winning KICKR Smart Trainer. From long training miles and pre-race warm up efforts, to measuring last-lap surges in a World Cup race, every corner of the Wahoo product ecosystem addresses the specific needs of a discerning cyclocross athlete competing at the world’s most elite levels.

Starting in January 2018 and running through the full 2018 season, Wahoo will support Sniper Cycling with its innovative sweat-proof, dual-band TICKR Heart Rate Monitor to measure efforts, along with the sleek ELEMNT GPS cycling computer capturing ride data. For winter indoor power-based workouts and pre-race warm up efforts, Sniper athletes will use the KICKR smart trainer and its legendary flywheel technology, which gives them a developmental edge and efficiency unmatched by any other smart trainer.
