SixTwentySix Signs Director Sharon Chetrit to Its Roster

Award-winning, VFX and AI forward filmmaker joins the Los Angeles creative studio for commercial representation

Award-winning, bi coastal creative studio SixTwentySix has signed director Sharon Chetrit to its roster for commercial representation. The addition deepens the studio’s roster of visually ambitious filmmakers and its push into hybrid production, where live-action, CG, and emerging AI technologies are built into a single cinematic pipeline.

Chetrit is known for building highly designed worlds in which live action and post-production are conceived as one visual language from the outset. Rather than treating VFX, CG, or AI as elements layered on after a shoot, he designs camera, performance, lighting, and environment around them from the start. His work is marked by high-octane camera movement, extreme macro photography, unexpected lenses, and transitions built to physically pull audiences through a world always anchored by the small human gesture in the frame that makes it believable.

His commercial work includes projects for Microsoft, Logitech G, Lowe’s, Mars, LG, YouTube Music, Motorola and Johnson & Johnson.

“I’ve known Austin for a while, so this move is a long time coming,” said Chetrit. “I’ve watched him and the team build SixTwentySix into something with real energy, ambition, and curiosity, so I’m excited to make some noise together.”

SixTwentySix co-founders Jake Krask and Austin Barbera welcomed Chetrit to the studio.

“Sharon builds worlds most directors wouldn’t attempt, then finds the one human moment that makes them land. What drew us to him is the way he uses technical ambition in service of real emotion. We’re excited to help take his career to the next level,” said Krask, co-founder and managing partner.

“Sharon’s work has been on my radar for around the past five years. It’s experimental and it operates at scale, but it always stays anchored in story. He pushes the creative and he pushes the people around him, which is exactly the kind of director we want here. Having him join SixTwentySix is a big one for us,” said Barbera, co-founder and managing director.

Chetrit’s short film “SOUP” recently earned two Telly Awards and continues to build momentum in the narrative space. He is currently developing NITRA, a surreal psychological thriller feature rooted in memory, identity and ritual. The Black List described the script as “a unique, one-of-a-kind script with a point of view all its own” and highlighted its “Lynchian surreality.”

His recognition includes a Webby Award; two Telly Awards for “SOUP” (People’s Telly and Horror & Thriller, Film & Shorts); a Shorty Award; and YouTube Best in Ads recognition. He is a Warner Bros. TV Directors Lab Fellow and his work has screened at the Cannes Film Festival and the BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival.
