The Lucky Generals and Amazon team have been nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Commercial category for its Super Bowl Ad “Alexa’s Body”.

This is the second time the agency has been nominated for the prestigious global awards. The first time was in 2018 for another Amazon Super Bowl film, “Alexa Loses Her Voice”.

The teaser trailer went live on January 31st, the full ad aired for the first time on February 7th, after game play in the 4th quarter. The work was directed by Wayne McCalmmy at Hungry Man.

The playful Super Bowl ad features renowned actor, film producer and director Michael B. Jordan conjured as a daydream from a business executive as she fantasizes about the beautiful vessels Alexa could live in.

The award announcements are expected mid September.

Danny Brooke-Taylor from Lucky Generals said: “To be nominated for another Emmy is a massive achievement. Honestly, we couldn’t be more proud.”
