Full-service, integrated marketing agency bigdog’s Norwich office has made nine new hires, following a successful quarter of new client projects and wins. The hires will grow the Norwich creative team by 30%.
Michael Howes joins as creative director, following an extensive period freelancing at bigdog. Drawing on his rich experience working on agency accounts including Smirnoff, Stella Artois, Sky and SAP, he will be responsible for the day to day running of the department, leading a team of 30 on and offline creatives. Reporting into Cordell Burke, his remit is to improve the quality of work across a client portfolio which includes the likes of Aviva, Barclays, Pret and Mazda.
Michael is joined by new senior copywriter Catherine Wells, who arrives from MRM Meteorite, and new senior art director, Emma Bristow, who joins from integrated agency Live & Breathe. The pair are being reunited as a team, having previously worked together at spread betting provider, IG.
Other significant recent new hires include designers Myles Hunt and Andy Copland, copywriters Robert Perry and Deborah Clavis, senior creative artworker Andrew Reynolds, and art director Tom Street.
