McCann Central has announced changes to its senior management team to continue to drive growth and innovation.
Stepping into the role of Managing Director at McCann Birmingham is Lucy Hudson, who brings a proven track record of driving growth and fostering client relationships. Passionate about DE&I, Hudson co-founded McCann Central’s Margot Collective last year, an insight-led female consulting team that harnesses female talent to create effective work that speaks to real women. This has not only been a driving force in championing inclusive practices within the workplace but has also been instrumental in raising the agency’s profile externally and winning best practice awards.
Moving from McCann Demand, she has equally made her mark on the business. From growing the agency to record levels and winning a raft of new clients and creative awards, Hudson’s leadership skills and strategic vision make her the ideal candidate to lead McCann Birmingham onto its next phase of success.
Chris Falconer expands his role as Group Managing Director to further propel the development of the agency’s capabilities and performance, collaborating closely with Dean Lovett, CEO at McCann Central and, recently appointed, Chairman of McCann Manchester.
Falconer will also assume responsibility for McCann Demand, the agency which he developed from its start-up roots between 2018 and 2022. He moves from the Birmingham office where, over the course of the last 18 months, he has made a significant impact on the business, including revamping the look and feel of the agency, building a new leadership team alongside delivering a solid commercial performance.
Reflecting on the strategic changes, CEO Dean Lovett, said: “This marks an exciting next chapter for McCann Central. With Chris Falconer expanding his role and Lucy Hudson stepping in to lead McCann Birmingham, we are well-positioned to elevate our capabilities, grow our geographic footprint, deliver even greater value and effectiveness to our clients and take our team on this inclusive journey.”
