Havana Club is announcing a change within its senior team with the appointment of Nathalie Parte to replace Anne Martin as Global Marketing Director of the leading international Cuban rum brand.
Parte joins Havana Club from partnering company, Pernod Ricard France, where she served as Brand Director across portfolios including Ricard, Ballantine’s, Jameson, Lillet and Suze, playing a key role in driving growth and marketing exposure within the French market.
Prior to this, she spent nearly ten years at Martell, where she held various positions and notably managed the marketing strategy in key Cognac markets, including China, the US and Nigeria, constantly adapting tactics to consumers preferences to establish the brand’s rich portfolio on the international stage.
Parte’s new role comes at a time when the brand continues to build on its rich Cuban heritage, with her leadership and vision expected to drive dynamic growth and sustained success in the competitive global market.
In her position within the Havana Club Management Committee, reporting directly to CEO, Christian Barré, Nathalie will oversee Havana Club’s global marketing teams and implement targeted strategies to continue to establish the brand’s category leadership. Beyond this, she will manage its award-winning portfolio to continue to drive quality credentials, whilst also spearheading marketing activations.
Commenting on the appointment, Christian Barré, CEO of Havana Club, explains: “We’re delighted to welcome Nathalie to the Havana Club family. Her expertise in innovation and strategic approach to marketing will play an instrumental role in propelling our brand to new heights, as we continue to strengthen our market position and expand our global footprint.”
“It’s a very exciting time to join Havana Club,” adds Parte. “As the brand cements its status as one of the world’s bestselling premium rum brands, whilst staying true to its vibrant Cuban heritage. My goal is to establish the brand in new and existing territories via best-in-class marketing initiatives, whilst also focusing on premiumisation, to enable Havana Club to write the story of its next decade, in the wake of celebrating last November the collective success of the first 30 years.”
“I look forward to capturing the hearts of rum lovers worldwide by honouring Havana Club’s unparalleled craftmanship and unique Cuban spirit. Together – with the support of the wonderful team in Cuba and across the globe – we will continue its legacy for generations to come.”
