Humanaut Creative Director Bethany Maxfield was chosen as one of Adweek’s Creative 100. The announcement was made June 11th.
Maxfield began her advertising career at Humanaut. She started seven years ago as a designer and quickly rose through the ranks to art director, then associate creative director, and finally, creative director. She moved to Chattanooga from New York City having previously worked as a display and window designer for Barneys New York and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Maxwell has overseen and directed all of Humanaut’s largest accounts and biggest projects for the past two years. These include campaigns for Secret Whole Body Deodorant (“Everywhere”), Hero Cosmetics (“Pimple, Meet Your Mighty Patch”), Organic Valley (“Protecting Where Your Food Comes From”), The League (“Be a GoalDigger”), Pete & Gerrys (“(Almost) The Wildest Eggs You Can Get”) and SunButter (“Jammies”).
“All the work we do is for brands that are making things better for people, animals and the planet,” said Humanaut Founder and Chief Creative Officer David Littlejohn. “Bethany is driven by a deep care for people and their physical and emotional well-being, and she has become ridiculously educated about climate change, organic farming, pasture-raised practices, nutrition, supplements, and what makes humans happy, well rested and healthy. She uses this understanding to sharpen and inform all of our work and she genuinely wants to share this knowledge with others to help people live better lives.”
Each year, ADWEEK’s Creative 100 honors the most creative and innovative professionals in the world. The list recognizes visionary talent who over the past year have broken ground across advertising, marketing, social media, TV and streaming, filmmaking, visual art and more.
