Integrated creative agency Impero has hired three new creatives to expand its output and bring different perspectives into the mix.
Sophia Tassew, who has worked at Ogilvy, AKQA and FCB Inferno, joins as a junior creative. As well as her advertising background, she brings with her a broader experience in the art community where she has made waves by curating sell-out exhibitions around identity, feminism and body politics.
Sharing her passion for design, community, expression and content creation, Sophia has written, featured in a partnership with the likes of ASOS, Nike, Cosmopolitan and i-D magazine.
Also joining as a junior creative, Ecuadorian Beatriz Zambrano has worked at Iris Worldwide on brands such as Samsung and Jack Daniels, and at Lola MullenLowe in Madrid, where she made her mark on Unilever bands Magnum and Axe. Beatriz believes that the best ideas are fun, genuine and relatable, and in keeping with this ethos she loves to take pictures with her £9 analogue camera, watch Modern Family, and embrace the British summer.
Impero’s third new hire is Ella Price, as a creative placement. Ella has worked in advertising in student placement roles and is now committed to using her love of writing short and long form content to use in her career. Ella is currently at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing a degree in advertising and public relations with a minor in PPE.
Alastair Mills, Joint ECD at Impero said: “Sophia, Beatriz and Ella all bring their own intriguing perspectives on life and advertising that make them a great addition to our thinking at Impero. We can’t wait to bring these new perspectives to our clients, our work – and into our company culture.”
The three hires come only a few weeks after Impero hired Elliott Star from 20Something as a Creative Director. Impero’s clients include Chivas, Jordan, Christian Aid, First Choice Holidays and George at Asda.
