Little Moons, the mochi ice cream company, has appointed Lucky Generals to its agency roster as it looks to build on its already rapid growth across Europe.
It picked up the account after the chemistry stage, which included two other agencies.
Lucky Generals will be briefed with creating Little Moons’ entire brand platform, which will then be used as the basis for all of its creative output going forward. Its first work will be a launch campaign for Spring next year as Little Moons looks to expand its presence in the UK and Continental Europe. Little Moons’ relationship with The Clerkenwell Brothers, who are retained to produce social and digital work, is unaffected by the appointment.
Vickie Ridley, Head of New Business at Lucky Generals, said: “Little Moons are a great product that are really different from anything we’ve experienced before and we can’t stop eating them. The team there are on a mission to make them famous and we can’t wait to help them.”
Ross Farquhar, Marketing Director at Little Moons, said: “We met three of the finest creative companies London has to offer and it was an incredibly tough decision, but in Lucky Generals we knew we’d found the perfect partner to go on this growth journey with. We can’t wait to get to work.”
Mochi is a traditional soft-sweet dough from Japan that is usually filled with a red bean paste. Little Moons replaces the red bean paste with creamy, artisan ice cream. Initially found in some of London’s top restaurants, such as Nobu and Sushi Samba, Little Moons are now available in supermarkets across the UK and Europe as well as from Little Moons’ own pop-ups in Westfield Shepherd’s Bush and Selfridges.
