A new advert for the Audi RS 6 Avant sees the car involved in a paintball battle dubbed ‘The Duel – Man vs Machine’.

The video, produced by viral marketing specialists Rubber Republic, sees racing driver and James Bond stuntman Ben Collins – who also served as The Stig on Top Gear until 2010 – behind the wheel of the AS 6 armed with yellow paintballs.

Collins comes up against free runner and fellow Skyfall stunt double Damien Walters, whose YouTube videos have received over 80 million hits, and an arsenal of orange paintballs.

The two engage in a furious game of cat and mouse around abandoned docklands with Collins’ pinpoint handling of the new Audi pitted against Walters’ athleticism.

Collins eventually emerges victorious thanks to his employment of a paint grenade, though Hugh Fletcher from Audi UK was keen to point out that the vehicle was the real star of the show:

“The RS 6 is one of our most impressive and surprising cars. We wanted to show what it could do, but also have a little fun in the process. With the help of Ben and Damien, we’ve captured not only its performance, but its personality too.”

The shoot was notable as the first to be allowed at the Sheerness Dock in Kent, with filming taking place over the August bank holiday weekend.
