OMD UK is delighted to announce the promotion of Laura Fenton to Managing Director of OMD UK.
Laura takes up the position, having joined the agency as a graduate in 2004, spending three years up to 2014 as the Client Services Director at OMG’s branded content agency, Drum.
During this time, she has led a number of OMD UK’s key client relationship. She will be responsible for driving and developing the day-to-day business and delivering best in class services for clients.
The news follows a string of agency promotions and hires. Alison Ashworth joins as Chief Strategy Officer from Carat, where she was a Global Strategy partner, whilst the agency has also promoted Jess Roberts to Chief Agency Development Officer and Christian Byron to Chief Operating Officer.
In addition, Vicky Fox, Head of Media Planning, and Gareth Orr, Head of OMD Create, have been promoted to sit on the agency leadership team. Hannah Stockton was promoted to Head of Strategy last year and will report into Alison.
The appointment and promotions follow a string of recent account wins including Barclays, Betway, BSH, Lidl and Tourism Ireland.
