FirstVet, the world’s first digital veterinary clinic, has appointed ELVIS to develop a number of campaigns in order to build brand awareness in the UK. The agency was appointed without a pitch.
The challenger brand FirstVet, which enables pet owners to have video meetings with a vet via their smartphone, tablet or computer, will now partner with ELVIS to develop a number of campaigns with the objective of building brand awareness in the UK, ensuring clarity about its service and the benefits it offers to pet owners.
The first activity to launch will be an out-of-home campaign, created and executed in partnership with FirstVet’s in-house marketing team, with an integrated push to follow.
Founded in 2016 and backed by the same investors as Spotify, Livi, and iZettle, FirstVet’s goal is to improve the lives of pet owners around the world.
Otto Ecroyd, UK Country Manager, FirstVet, said: “We were looking for lead agency thinking combined with small agency agility, and that’s exactly what ELVIS offer. They have the ability to bring a brand’s personality to life across channels, creating real cut-through and emotional engagement. We’re looking forward to partnering with them as we aim to build awareness of FirstVet in the UK.”
Tanya Brookfield, CEO, ELVIS, added: “FirstVet offer a really relevant and interesting service, with huge potential to disrupt the way people access veterinary services in the UK. They wanted wide-ranging and agile creativity, and that’s what we’re all about. We also felt their values aligned perfectly with ours.”
