Partners Andrews Aldridge has boosted its team with three new hires and two promotions as part of a creative team restructure spearheaded by creative director Paul Snoxell.
The new structure sees the introduction of three roles at the agency: deputy creative director, head of design and head of digital display, taking the total creative department headcount to 26.
To that end, Richard Worrow and Ross Newton have been promoted to the new roles of deputy creative directors, with a remit to assist in the day-to-day running of the creative department. In their new roles, Worrow and Newton will be responsible for continuing to drive the quality and scope of the agency’s creative work.
Snoxell said: “Rich and Ross are good guys and excellent creative leaders. They win pitches and gongs, and they’re also very ambitious and capable; giving them new responsibilities was a no-brainer.”
The restructure also sees Guy Sexty take on the newly created role of head of design. Sexty will have a wide-ranging remit that includes leading all design aspects of Partners’ work for their clients, building a dedicated design team within the creative departments and setting the agency’s aesthetic philosophy alongside Snoxell and creative partner and chairman Steve Aldridge.
Before joining Partners, Sexty ran his own design company. Prior to that, he was head of type at DLKW for nearly ten years. In his time at DLKW, Sexty won numerous awards, including a Golden Lion for DLKW’s Microloan pennies for life campaign award.
“Getting Guy on board is a real coup for us. As well as bringing a sackful of awards and the experience of a couple of decades at the top of the game to share with us, he also brings a completely new way of looking at our creative projects and challenges,” said Snoxell.
Other Partners’ hires include Darren Stevenson, who joins Partners in another new role, head of digital display. Stevenson will be responsible for all of Partners’ client’s activity in paid-for digital media, and bring his skills to newer platforms such as Vine and gaming consoles, as well as pushing creative boundaries within more familiar environments such as email.
Aneta Pertkiewicz joins Partners as a digital designer. Working within Sexty’s design team, she will work across the entire client base bringing UX design and innovation skills to all digital platforms form emails to apps.
Snoxell added: “Darren is not only experienced, he’s also unflappable, capable and a thoroughly decent bloke; he’ll increase our technical competencies and bring even more craft to all our digital executions. Aneta has that quality shared by all the best new designers in our field – inquisitiveness. She loves the new and has a desire and capability to make what’s next.”
“By implementing a new structure and making more new hires, we’re building a department of creators and makers dedicated to bringing people wonderful experiences on behalf of our clients that bear the hallmarks of the gloriously inventive, highly crafted work that has and always will be made by Partners,” he concluded.
