Creative agency ELVIS has promoted David Whitehouse from the position of Business Director to the newly created role of Client Services Director.
He will now oversee client services at ELVIS and take on leadership of the 20-strong client services team. One of his main objectives will be to help meet ELVIS’ ambition of becoming the first UK agency to achieve a 9+ client satisfaction score through The Client Relationship Consultancy, which works with independent agencies and every major holding company in the world. ELVIS has consistently exceeded the consultancy’s benchmark, with an average score of 8.11 over the last eight years.
Whitehouse joined ELVIS as a graduate trainee in 2010, and he has since led many of the agency’s most successful client work, including the multiple award-winning Cadbury Premier League initiative, which has achieved year-on-year growth in ROI.
The move, which follows Caroline Davison’s promotion from Managing Partner to the dual role of Managing Director and Sustainability Lead in December 2020, is part of ELVIS’ ongoing efforts to invest in its people and support homegrown talent.
The news comes hot on the heels of ELVIS achieving IPA CPD Platinum Accreditation, in recognition of sustained CPD excellence.
Caroline Davison, Managing Director and Sustainability Lead, ELVIS, said: “Dave has a natural talent for bringing the best out in others. The depth of relationships he forges internally and externally, coupled with his sharp business sense, make him the perfect choice to step into this role. His incredible length of tenure at ELVIS means he has an unparalleled understanding of our business and that of our clients.”
David Whitehouse, new Client Services Director, ELVIS, added: “Going from grad to Client Services Director at ELVIS has been an incredible journey and is testament to the focus the business has on growth and development. I’m super excited to be leading an incredibly smart and talented team and look forward to giving others the same support I had. My focus will be on continuing to strengthen our already industry-leading client relationships and harnessing those to develop braver, more purpose-driven creative work.”
