Veteran social-first strategist joins the agency’s growing Chicago team
Independent, female-owned, full-service advertising agency, Cornett has announced the appointment of Ashley White as Director of Social Strategy. White brings 15 years of experience building brands to be social-first, grounding strategy in real community insights and human-centered storytelling.
Across her career, White has helped brands connect strategy with creative execution so they can show up online with consistency and cultural relevance. She has built and scaled social departments from the ground up and led strategies at agencies including Edelman and Big Spaceship, working with consumer favorites and running campaigns around major cultural moments. Her goal is always to make sure what a brand wants to achieve turns into a real, genuine conversation.
In her new role, White will be client-focused, with the primary responsibility of developing and overseeing execution of social media that drives meaningful engagement, earns organic conversation, and delivers a disproportionate share of voice. She will work across Cornett‘s social client roster, including Cup Noodles, Top Ramen, Four Roses, Hoop Tea, Ritas, Busch Light, and Natural Light, among others.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ashley to the team as our Director of Social Strategy,” said Christy Hiler, Owner and CEO of Cornett. “As our social business expands, finding a leader with sharp strategic vision, a proven multi-platform approach, and a track record of empowering teams was critical. Ashley made an immediate impact from day one—her expertise has already earned the highest praise from both our clients and internal teams, and we could not be more excited for the future of Cornett’s social team under her leadership.”
White joins Cornett’s growing Chicago team, alongside Media Account Director Garrett Kelly, Sr. Art Director Aleigh Hawking, and Director of Business Development Jamon Deaver.
