CREATIVE MUSIC AGENCY DLMDD UNVEILS NEW REBRAND TO REFLECT ITS NEW ERA AS THE ‘CREATORS OF EXTRAORDINARY SOUND’

DLMDD, the creative sound branding agency, today unveils a new brand identity, bringing together the agency’s full and expanding range of services under one roof, from sonic branding and music supervision to bespoke composition and music strategy.

DLMDD is an agency of advertising-wired musicians making brands famous for how they sound, with clients including Cadbury, Amazon, Singapore Airlines, Müller, TfL and Betway. A global sound boutique born in London, DLMDD is known for transforming brands by bridging the magic of sound with the science of human connection.

Launching with a new-look identity, DLMDD’s rebrand follows the senior appointment of Jeremy Newton as Head of Agency Business and marks an exciting new stage of growth for the business.

To illustrate and reflect DLMDD’s specialist offering for brands looking to find their unique sound, the new visual identity features kinetic typography from designer Holke79. The design technique creatively injects syllabic rhythmic movement into the text, creating a dynamic and sound fuelled experience for the viewer.

Max de Lucia, co-founder of DLMDD, comments:

“We’ve been so preoccupied making musical magic happen for other people’s brands since we launched DLMDD that we thought it was high time to do a bit of self-indulgent creative chiselling of ourselves. We spend most of our time looking forwards, but rebranding has forced us to take a moment to look back at what the last 5 years have given us – it’s been a brilliant rollercoaster ride. Here’s to the next 5 years and creating some properly extraordinary sound along the way.”

Borja Holke Rezola, founder of Holke79, comments:

“When DLMDD approached us explaining their need to include some kinetic typography as a key asset on their new website it was music to my ears. I always visualise my animations with rhythm and even frequencies in mind. In this particular case we played with the baseline of the hero text to express DLMDD’s unique way of creating sound. Something unexpected and playful. And we had a blast making the animations.”
