With the goal of growing its media offering in 2024 and beyond, Pavone Group has announced four new hires for its media department, including industry vet Jeremy Freeman as media director.
In addition to overseeing the expansion of the media department, Freeman will lead responsibilities for all media strategy and buying across Pavone Group and its agencies.
Additional media department hires include Media Planner & Buyer Drew Conklin, CRM & Marketing Automations Specialist Addie Harris and Media Operations Specialist Grant Alexander.
Freeman began his career as an omni-channel media strategy and buying expert and added additional areas of expertise to match the constantly evolving media landscape.
“These additions add depth and leadership to an already strong media team,” said Pavone Group CEO Michael Pavone. “Jeremy will be an immediate asset not just for the agency, but also for our clients. He’s the kind of leader we need to take the Pavone Group media offering to the next level.”
Freeman was most recently Senior Director of Media and Strategy at Atlanta’s Empower Media. Prior to that, he first spent 14 years at Wyse Advertising in Cleveland where he also earned his B.B.A. in Marketing at Cleveland State University. During his time there, he honed his craft and moved up and up the corporate ladder from associate media planner to senior media planner.
For Freeman, growing Pavone Group’s media team starts with the right people.
“What I care most about are the people I’ll be working with to make that growth happen,” said Freeman. “Pavone Group has, by far, the best team to be in the trenches with. It’s a smart and capable team. They’re eager to learn and willing to do whatever it takes to win for our clients, and that’s the best team you can ask for.”
During his career, Jeremy has worked in numerous consumer and B2B categories across QSR, retail, CPG, apparel, home goods (to name but a few) for such notable brands as Zaxby’s, Sprouts Farmers Markets, Jockey International, PURELL® Hand Sanitizer, Moen Faucets, Champion Spark Plugs, Hungry Jack and Parker Hannifin.
