Alex will be responsible for how Fold7’s work is produced and delivered across the agency, shaping its operating model and ensuring creativity and craft remain central.  He will also guide the use of AI-assisted workflows where they meaningfully support creative ambition.

Ryan Newey, Founder and CCO at Fold7, said: “Alex brings a deep understanding of creative craft alongside the operational experience to transform how we deliver it. As we continue to enhance our infrastructure, having someone who approaches creative delivery differently and with an innovative, future-facing mindset is increasingly important. Alex is a natural fit for the agency and for where we’re heading next.”

Alex Leach added: “Fold7 is a rare independent agency that has continued to increase its momentum whilst always staying true to its creative principles. That combination of strong foundations and the freedom to keep questioning how things work is what attracted me. I’m looking forward to working with the team to explore what makes the agency tick and to help shape and evolve how great creative work gets made and delivered.”

Alex joined Jellyfish in 2021 as Production Director, Film. Over four years he progressed to lead a team of more than 45 integrated producers and production directors across Europe, the Americas and Asia-Pacific. During his time there, he evolved the global integrated production function and delivered work across social, film and integrated campaigns for brands including LEGO, Google, L’Oréal Netflix, and Toyota. He also oversaw the deployment of several large-scale AI studio engagements at a group level, using The Brandtech Group’s AI creative platform, Pencil. His team also led production on Apple TV+’s Severance S2 launch campaign, which won a Silver Lion at Cannes Lions 2025.

Prior to Jellyfish, Alex was Executive Producer at Splash Worldwide, a creative technology company working across social and digital content. Before that he founded Art War Entertainment, a boutique production company created to white-label content for MySpace UK and the wider UK creative industry.

Alex is an advocate for neurodiversity and inclusive creative cultures, including supporting initiatives such as Neurodiversity in Media.
