New Campaign Addressing Financial Anxieties

For the new campaign for Metro Credit Union, Newburyport-based ad agency Mechanica asked Massachusetts residents what they expect from their financial institution and found a disheartening truth – consumers expect to be underserved and feel unprepared to manage their finances.
The new “Here to Make Things Better” campaign rallies customers to demand more from their banks.

The three 30-second spots, entitled “Cake,” “Baby,” and “Driveway,” and the radio spots depict everyday consumers struggling with the anxieties that come with arranging mortgages, auto loans, wedding payments, savings and more. Metro Credit Union offers them knowledge and options to make the most informed decision, ending each ad with the line, “worrying about your money won’t make you feel better about your money but talking to us will.”

With this new multimedia campaign, running across CTV, radio, paid/organic social, digital, OHH, web, experiential & SEM, Metro Credit Union, the largest state-chartered credit union in Massachusetts, shows how they are a trustworthy and reliable alternative to banks, with an emphasis on the credit union’s responsive service, proactive guidance, and competitive offerings.
