Out with the old, in with bold.
Independent creative agency, previously known as Double D Creative (DDC), proudly introduces its dynamic rebrand to Rise & Amplify.
This strategic repositioning marks an evolution from its original inception in 2006 by founders Tom Dent and Tom Denton.
The name takes inspiration from the Tom’s DJ past, which first brought them together. This origin story is woven into the agency’s refreshed brand identity.
With clients including Kellogg’s, Pringles, Dunkin’ and PZ Cussons, the agency has seen incredible growth over the years, specialising in branding, packaging, retail activation, web design and build.
Reflecting on their journey so far, Co-Founder and Creative Director Tom Dent says: “Tom and I met working at a local newspaper group as graphic designers. Beside the similar names, we shared a lot of passions including music. We were both DJs running nights in Manchester and it was on one of those nights that we decided to start our own agency.
“What began as a partnership between Tom and me has grown into a 13-strong team, with each individual intrinsic to the success of the agency.
“The agency isn’t just about Tom and me anymore. Our agency thrives on the collective creativity and expertise of our team, extending beyond our foundational duo. Without talented people, a brand is nothing.”
Tom and Tom worked with a strategic agency to bring a fresh, objective perspective and drill down into what makes them tick and develop a clear vision for the future.
Co-Founder and Director Tom Denton adds: “Design, music – it’s all one language, just different dialects. It’s the same us, just better looking, reimagined, realigned, and ready to roll. We’re evolving without losing our essence.
“Rise & Amplify puts the experience first. Great design is more than just looks. Creating something truly memorable taps into emotions, stirs something and creates a connection – Design that moves you.
At the core of our agency is the genuine partnerships we have with our clients. It’s simple – we aim to tell compelling stories through design that not only looks great, but also feels good.”
