Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Ben McNaughton as Head of Design, the latest of a string of senior creative hires at the agency.
McNaughton’s appointment reflects the agency’s commitment to grow and strengthen its specialist design discipline, which sits at the heart of Saatchi & Saatchi’s integrated creative department. He joins CCO Franki Goodwin’s creative leadership team, alongside ECD William John and Head of Creative Caroline Paris, and reports into Goodwin.
McNaughton spent the past 16 years at Mother London, serving as Head of Design since 2023. Working his way through the ranks, McNaughton was integral to the foundations and growth of Mother’s Communication Design department, and led on award-winning design work across clients including IKEA – which he worked on for over a decade – KFC, Starbucks, Trainline and Uber.
Prior to Mother, McNaughton started his career as a Creative Designer at Publicis London.
Franki Goodwin, Chief Creative Officer, Saatchi & Saatchi said: I’m delighted to welcome Ben to lead our next chapter of design integration at Saatchi. With craft skills and tools evolving on a daily basis, the talented humans we choose to wrangle it all alongside us have never been more important. Ben’s stunning portfolio of culturally resonant work for iconic brands speaks for itself and we’re looking forward to seeing where he can take our work this year.”
Ben McNaughton, Head of Design, Saatchi & Saatchi, said: “Saatchi & Saatchi is the agency everyone has heard of. The opportunity to help shape the next chapter of such a rich heritage and work with iconic clients was a no-brainer. Franki’s respect for design and her focus on integration and inspiration across the creative department made the move an easy decision.”
