Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Emily Lewis-Keane as Strategy Partner and Jimmy MacAskill as Strategy Director, bolstering the department led by CSO Richard Huntington.
As Strategy Partner, Emily will work closely with Richard and Head of Strategy Sam Wise to deliver industry-leading strategy for the company. Her role will see her lead strategy for one of the agency’s three squads, driving planning for clients including EE and OVO.
Emily joins Saatchi & Saatchi from Cossette, the largest creative agency in Canada, where she was Vice President for Strategy and led planning for a portfolio of clients, with a particular focus on growing Walmart’s business in Canada. Dedicated to building a culture of effectiveness at Cossette, Emily received a gold IPA for SickKids – Canada’s leading hospital for children – as well as helping to win a slew of APG Creative Strategy Awards, Effies and a Cannes Creative Strategy Lion for the agency.
Before relocating to Canada, Emily was Global Strategy Lead at Ogilvy UK, working across brands including Barclays, Kimberley Clark and Philips, having started her career in advertising at M&C Saatchi.
Emily’s appointment follows that of Jimmy MacAskill, who joined the agency earlier in the summer as Strategy Director. Working across brands including British Heart Foundation and Direct Line, Jimmy was previously a Planning Director at Adam & Eve DDB, where he worked on award-winning campaigns for clients including Lloyds Banking Group, CALM, Peloton and Frontline19. Previously, during his time at MullenLowe, Jimmy won an IPA Effectiveness award and several Effies for NHS England’s workforce recruitment campaign ‘We are the NHS’.
Emily Lewis-Keane, Strategy Partner, Saatchi & Saatchi says, “Saatchi’s is an exciting place to be right now, I’m delighted to be part of the OG agency’s return to its rightful place as a creative and cultural force to be reckoned with.”
Jimmy MacAskill, Strategy Director, Saatchi & Saatchi comments, “It’s a super exciting time to be joining the crew at Saatchi’s and it’s already been an action-packed summer. I couldn’t be prouder to play a part in building the next chapter of this iconic agency.”
Richard Huntington, CSO, Saatchi & Saatchi adds, “I have wanted to work with both Emily and Jimmy for a while, they are both exceptional strategists. I’m chuffed that they have decided to join us, especially with the incredible momentum we have at the moment.”
